How to use Mapinia

1. Create and secure your account

Follow the current sign-up flow, accept the published terms, verify the requested account information, and review location and notification permissions. Mapinia is an 18+ service.

2. Explore the map

Use your current area when location access is enabled or move and search the map manually. Open markers and previews to review posts, places, people, collections, or events.

3. Share from a place

Choose the share action, confirm the location, add eligible media and text, select visibility options, and review the post before publishing. Mapinia does not create an automatic check-in.

4. Save and organize places

Save a place for later or add it to a private or public collection. Use collections to organize trips, neighborhoods, cafés, restaurants, views, or any personal theme.

5. Join an event

Open an event, review its place, schedule, rules, and eligibility, then join when available. Event participation and sharing may depend on time, location, or account status.

6. Build your MapinCard

Add a short introduction, interests, selected collections, and a featured social link. Choose information that represents you without exposing unnecessary private details.

7. Use safety controls

Report inappropriate content or accounts from the relevant action menu. Block unwanted interactions and manage blocked users from settings.
